Talk on The Tempest Themes

Dublin Shakespeare is delighted in having

Jane Grogan (Associate Professor in English at UCD.)

to present a general introduction to the Tempest, looking particularly at the themes been explored with our forthcoming production, directed by Paul Maher.

The Talk will be held on

Saturday23rd March at 7.30pm, Teachers Club, Room 6.

Free Admission.    No reserved seating.

Duration of talk will be 45 minutes and follow up with a Q&A session.

Jane is the author of two monographs -one on the Tudor poet Edmund Spenser, the second on Anglo-Iranian relations and cultural connections in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries – as well as journal articles on Shakespeare, epic poetry, book history, and so on.

She’s past president of the International Spenser Society, and is the Irish representative to Council of the Society for Renaissance Studies.
