Render Unto Caesar - A taster
On November 13th 2021 the Society was privileged to present, by kind permission of Patrick Powers family, a live performance of “Render Unto Caesar” a radio play by Patrick J Power.
The performance was the first live production since February 2020 by the society due to the the restrictions imposed by the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic across the globe.
Directed by Tim Casey a stellar cast, which included Patrick’s daughter Nessa, enacted the story as if in a radio station.
For those unable to attend in person the technical skills of Liam Borgström ensured that the performance was broadcast to a high quality using the online platform “Zoom”.
The performance was followed by an interview with Nessa chaired by Tim.
A most enjoyable night and captured in a recording which will allow it to be viewed into the future.
