The Oscar Wilde short story, Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime, is being adapted for performance in the Teachers Club, by George Carroll and it is planned to present the performance late May 2026. The first workshop is on February 21st 2026.

In this adaptation—written and directed by George Carroll for the The Dublin Shakespeare Society, Oscar Wilde’s Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime follows the seemingly fortunate Lord Arthur, a young aristocrat on the brink of a perfect marriage, whose life is abruptly unsettled by a chilling prediction. At a high-society gathering, a palm reader reveals that Arthur is destined to commit a terrible crime. What begins as an amusing curiosity quickly takes hold of his mind, transforming his engagement and future into something shadowed by inevitability and dread.

Macbeth To Be Thus Is Nothing
A modern retelling of William Shakespeare’s “Macbeth”, set in Dublin’s inner-city underworld. The ‘Vault’ is a rundown rave club — the meeting place for our characters. Macbeth and his wife Amelia are an ambitious couple part of a dysfunctional family. Spurred on by dark forces, they commit murder to seize control of the operation. As guilt, paranoia and violence take hold, their bond unravels with devastating consequences.
