Synopsis: DEARBHLA a journalist for a mothers and babies magazine. Also blogs about her single life, including her own decision never to have children. Meanwhile, she and her UK editor TOBY have been carrying on an affair. Her mother BRID is anxious about her but has a bit of a knack for making things worse not better. After bumping into JASON, an old – now married – acquaintance, Dearbhla re-examines her attitudes via her blog. Now, with a high-profile baby products trade fair to attend, will she finally find a way to confront her demons.

The Shakes Red Nose Clowns make a journey through Shakespeares Forest, using anything they can along the way
Directed by George Carroll
Auditions/Workshops Wed Oct 5th at 7:30pm and Sat 8th Oct at 11am
The workshops will be a brief introduction to the smallest mask and a sense of wonder that is the Red Nose Clown world.
Using some games, play and improv, as part of developing the script.
No Red Nose Clown experience required.

Finding Violet

Synopsis: The Irish aristocrat Violet Gibson, 5-foot-1 with long greying hair, at fifty was an unlikely assassin. On April 7, 1926 she shot Italian dictator Benito Mussolini. She was the only would be assassin to actually hit the great man, grazing his nose with her bullet. Nobody knows if Gibson acted alone. Her ultimate fate is hauntingly sad. Together the director, writers and actors will explore the character of Violet through a synergetic process culminating in performance presenting Violet through the different stages of her life. The Debutante. The Assassin. The Madwoman. Underscored by a soundtrack which unveils her state of mind.
