A farcical romp, its humour is based largely on cases of mistaken identity and the resulting confusion which follows.
An ensemble piece, its main characters are a set of twins, both named Antipholus and their servants, both named Dromio, also twins.
Many years previously, Egeon and his wife Adriana were travelling by boat, when they became separated from each other during a storm. The play sees Egeon in search of his long-lost family.
The Comedy of Errors

It is one of Shakespeare's earliest works and is often regarded as his most farcical comedy. This production is the first live Shakespearean play to be produced by The Shakes since COVID-19. A real treat and not to be missed.
