This exciting talk by Val O’Donnell takes place as ‘Dublin : One City One Book’ ,sponsored by Dublin UNESCO City of Literature.
The book selected this year is ECHOLAND by Joe Joyce.
It’s a thriller set in Dublin in June 1940 and was selected because of its broad appeal to City readers.
Val’s talk will focus on the literary scene in Dublin at the same time as the novel is set.
He will also be reading from ECHOLAND.
For those who don’t know it, Rathfarnham Castle, recently renovated , is a lovely location.
It is served by buses 16 and 15B.
The event should be over around 9pm.
